![]() ![]() It's just a harbinger of death in my opinion, Two shotting most normal Necros and taking down the larger ones in just a few more. It's only right that it has it's place in the third one also. There is just that bond there, Having it by your side during the first chain of events on the Ishimura, Then again whilst on Titan Station. Aaaahhhh see what I did there.I understand that some people don't entirely like to use the Plasma Cutter in Dead Space 3, what with the large variety of weaponry you can create, however as with many people. I have looked at a number of other DIY plasma cutters in my scheming to create this, and I am not much of one for patting my own back, but I honestly think this one is cutting up the competition. Actual size to what a plasma cutter would be if they existed, this thing is nice and bulky for a "pistol" weapon/tool and weighs a good 5-ish pounds. I used some elements of all three cutters, and from what started out as a broken Nerf Gun I picked up at GoodWill for $0.99, this emerged. This thing took me about a week (with all the paint times) to make, and with little in the way of references I pretty much eyeballed it. It even has LED's for the flashlight and the targeting lasers (taken from the original mini cutter). Using it and some random bits of crap I laying around the garage, I cobbled together my own modified version of the Planet Cracker Plasma Cutter. So, I had this old DS2 plasma cutter that came with my special edition Dead Space 2 box set, but it's a miniature version of the one you can buy at ThinkGeek. I wanted a replica, not some made-in-China cheap ass plastic toy I spent too much money on and regretted later. ![]() Both look pretty damn cheesy for that much money, if you ask me. Now you can buy the one from the first Dead Space, the 211-V or the surgical laser/makeshift cutter from DS2 for $250.00. ![]() This series has been an all time fav for me and being the nerd that I am, I decided I HAD to have a plasma cutter. So I have played through Dead Space 3 four times now, to include Classic Mode. ![]()
